masturbation - i don't want to anymore!

Question Posted Monday March 12 2007, 2:08 pm

Okay, I'm a 14 year old female.
I've been masturbating since the summer.
See, on here, I've asked many questions and I always recieve the same answer, "Nothing is wrong with you, it's healthy." And sure, you say my friends are doing it but want to keep it personal, okay. Well I DON'T want to masturbate. The thing is, I don't know how to stop without getting urges or having the temptation to do it again, because I've tried fighting that and it's not helping. Please, help me. I don't want to be the monster I am anymore.

It is healthy and all but the easiest way to stop is to slowly stop it it isnt anything you want to just all the sudden cut off! Start by doing it once a week then every other week once a month and so on till you stop! Good Luck!

It's completely healthy & normal to masturbate. You're right, there is nothing wrong with you. I just don't see why you would wanna stop. When it comes to sex when you're older, you'll know what you like & you can guide the guy & it relieves tension & stress. As long as it doesn't disrupt daily life like doing homework, showering or eating, you're okay.

But, just occupy your time with something else, like reading.

Depressed_Poet answered Monday March 12 2007, 3:04 pm:
First of all, masturbating does not make you a monster but try this:
Going online, like a virtual community?
Chatting online
Call a friend to hang out etc.
Go shopping
Go out to dinner
See a movie
Watch some T.V.
Read a book or a magazine etc.
Or even daydream!
Play a game like LIFE, Truth or Dare, or Monopoly
Even put on loads of make-up just to fool around or find a new look for the heck of it!
Maybe even do housework?
I Hope those suggestions will help you out!
