tonsils
My tonsils are getting red and they have like white specks on them. It's really gross. Is this strep throat?

Yes, more than likely you do have strepp throat because when I get strepp, thats what my throat looks like. There could be other possibilities on what it could be but as far as i know, it sounds like you have stepp.

Don't listen to the people who felt the need to diagnos your possible illness. None of us here are doctors, and even if we are we can't tell you what you do or do not have without a proper exam. You NEED to see a doctor, not ask advice columnists.
Are those symptoms of strep - yes, they're also symptoms of many other sicknesses and nonsicknesses. (Yes, I'm at a lack of knoweledge when it comes to the proper term.)
So, if you want to know what is or is not wrong with you - See a doctor, don't ask a bunch of advice columnists.

If it hurts to swallow, it could be strep, or tonsillitis. I had the same situation, but i had tonsillitis.

I hate to say this but, that would be strep. I really reccomend you go to the doctor to get medication. I had it last year, but you only take a small bit of the medicine each day and it only will last up to prbably a week. I hope you feel better, and i hope i helped!

Either you have strep throat or your throat just may be really raw meaning real swollen and red like raw meat consalt your doctor immediately!!
