Your insurance will be extremely expensive. Also, a Corvette is a SPORTS CAR. Do not EVER put spinners on a sports car. If you are going to spend alot of money on insurance and buying a brand new Corvette in the first place, why the hell would you put spinners on it? That would be a whole lot of money down the drain. It won't look cool and it won't make you get attention. Not good attention anyway. People will look at the Corvette and laugh. And the only thing they will be questioning in their heads when they see you roll by is, "Why the hell would someone put spinners on a Vette? And who the hell would buy a kid a Vette in the first place?" Your best bet is to go to Walmart and get some plastic, chrome sprayed spinners, because spinners are not even worth spending alot of money on when all they do is cheapen the look of your really expensive ride. So if I were you, and please PLEASE please heed my advice, go with a stylish racing rim. If you want something flashy that makes your ride stand out go with some 20 inch rims... Chrome if you like. Or black for some contrast. But NO SPINNERS! I guarantee if you don't agree with me now, you will in the future. Think more Overhaulin and less Pimp My Ride.

PS:) To the guy below me, I am an "American" and you might want to watch what you say. Some Americans are jackasses that don't know jack shit about cars. But there are jackasses like that in every country around the world. You can't judge an entire country by a few people's stupid decisions on how to customize their car. You sound like a pig-headed son-of-a-bitch that needs to open his eyes to the real world. It is really sad that you don't even realize how stuck up you sound. I am disgusted by people like you, that sit on their high-horses and assume that everyone is alike. It is a good thing this world consists of many different people with many diverse ideas, because if everyone thought and acted like you, I think I'd get on a space shuttle and live on the moon. orphans answered Saturday March 10 2007, 4:00 pm: do not, and i repeat do not put spinners on a vette. it will ruin the car, slow it down, give it worse fuel economy, and look hiddeous.
a corvette is probably the most terrible first car for a kid i've ever heard of. what the hell kind of kid needs 400 horsepower at their fingertips? honestly? why? you're an idiot if you think your parents would actually buy you that, and if they do your parents are fucking morons too. get something safe, something that costs a lot less, and something that wont cost 700 a month to insure. i honestly this question should be deleted and you shouldn't be allowed to ask any more because this is probably the most ludicrous, and wrong situation i've ever heard of in my whole time of working on and with cars. you don't need a vette, you don't, under any circumstances need that car. you don't need 400 horsepower, you don't need a car that can do 0-60 in just a little over 3 seconds. you will kill yourself and wreck the car. you will cost your parents a ton of money in insurance and car payments, and you will ruin the car with cheap gas, and stupid stupid rims.
see this is why americans are retarded. escalades, navigators, and spinner rims. i swear to god if i have seen more rubbish on the road anywhere else i'd have remembered it.
1: a corvette is a terrible terrible car for a 16 year old. they're wonderful cars in almost every aspect of the word, but for someone your age it's probably the worst financial decision i've ever heard of... ever
2: spinner rims are disgustingly stupid, most shiny chrome wheels are, but spinners especially. they're costly, ugly, and do nothing for the car, nothing performance wise, nothing efficiency wise, nothing more than just show that the person driving loves excess. it's why i hate much of popular culture in america. excessive money spending, needless wasting of funds and time. and uneducated misguided people with no commonsense being thrown behind the wheels of ferraris and paganis and corvettes and living in mansions it disgusts me to no end.
3: your parents should know better than to spend that kind of money on you, and should know better than to spoil you like that. your parents should know when to say no to you and when to tell you no. because right now what i'm looking at is a kid who tells their parents what to do and gets away with it. when in actuality you should show some respect to your parents and understand that you don't need any of that and that you need to stop thinking in this dreamworld you're in and think sensible. because right now you're telling me that you're living in a nonexistant world that is full of excess, sin, and malevolence. when was the last time you didn't get something you want? when was the last time you were told no? prolly not in a long time. maybe that's what you need. because for people like me the real world isn't anything near where you're at, no see we work, we pay our bills, and we work towards the goals we set. and you, you need to step outside of yourself for a minute and think. then come to a much more sensible decision than a corvette with spinners.
i'm not your father, but i'm telling you no, because i know that what you're doing right now, asking for a vette, and wanting $10,000 rims on a $50,000 car is wrong. especially when you're not the one paying for it with your hard earned money. do not throw away money like that, invest it and save it wisely, frivolous spending, and childlike fantasy you're living now will lead only to failure get something more sensible, something safer, and something that will not cost an arm and a leg. i'm sorry, but you have a lot to learn and a lot to grow before you're ready for a corvette. Brandi_S answered Saturday March 10 2007, 8:22 am: Not to sound like a jerk, but do you realize the price of a brand new Corvette Coupe? Lets talk about $50,000-$60,000. Yah. Big money, honey. (Ok, so you may get lucky and find a good deal and get it for $45,000...)
And you are fretting over the price of spinner wheels? Those may run around $1000 or better for the good ones. I had 100 spoke wheels on my Camaro and they were $1500 wheels.
As for where you will find a Corvette, it matters not what state you live in, you will have to get it from a GM dealership if it is a brand new one you seek.
I just hope you realize that a Corvette is a toy- a very fast, powerful, pricey toy, and sometimes toys can be dangerous. This is one of those toys.
