It sounds like you're eating the right foods. Just make sure to avoid snacking, which is a really hard habit to break.

Whenever you eat, make sure to take small bites, chew very slowly, and allow your body to tell you when it's full. Take a sip of your drink inbetween each bite, too.

If you really want to lose weight, I'd replace your sandwhich with a bag of carrots or celery or whatever veggie you like the most. Having that much bread can really cause issues when you're trying to lose weight.

If you want to know some times on eating healthy- read the book "Dorm Room Diet", though it is a book that was written for college students- we all can read it since it tells you the basic food groups and types of foods that should be eaten, foods that should be eaten moderatly, and foods that should be eaten occassionally. It really helps because it tells you if you are going to a restaurant, you are advise to eat a piece of fruit before leaving because it will help you not be so hungry and what you should order if you really have to.

For me, I don't like the school lunches I have, so instead I pack a sandwich that consists of:
-two slices of whole wheat bread (whole wheat is a lot better than white bread because it is a lot healthier, and since bread is a starch- eating whole wheat reduces that much starch intake)
-two slices of ham/turkey breast
-a slice of cheese (so it won't be so empty with just ham/turkey
-a leaf of lettuce (washed cleanly of course)
-baby carrot sticks/ celery sticks/ if I really wanted to I'll pack some sticks of pretzels
-water

Sometimes when I am in a hurry, I won't pack myself a sandwich and would simply grab a bar of Trail Mix or a cereal bar. It keeps me in until I get home.

- the sandwich is okay, i dont know about it all being made of cheese.. and olives. maybe put a thin spread of peanut butter or jelly (not mixed, thats quite alot of unwanted calories) or something. my mom says that like ham and stuff like that is usually chemically enhanced.. like they feed chemicals to the pigs so they can get fat quicker and then they process the food to make it last longer and stuff. it may not even be all made of ham.. you'll be suprised to know what some of the things in it could be. perhaps horse meat too? lol jk but hopefully ya get my drift.

- a banana and light yogurt are good. have a banana one day and a yogurt the other. having them both AND a sandwich is quite alot of food. like for me usually i eat a peanut butter sandwhich on whole weat bread, an apple, and like.. water but once in a while gatorade. and unless your school lunch sucks ass, try it but tell them no fries, and dont get pizza, well unless ya want a treat. get like a sub (a healthy sub with like lettuce in it), a lil fruit cup, and MILK (very good for you! it can even be chocolate or strawberry if ya like). or instead of a sub, get salad or a chicken wrap or anything else healthy looking. but dont get school lunch too often because you dont know exactly how they made their food either, lol not to make you freak out, the foods probably safe.. but ya.

-pretzels are okay.. but dont treat yourselves too often, especially to the ones that have alot of salt. too much sodium aint good, my friend.

- calories hide in crazy places i tell you, so at restaurants make sure to read the amount of calories and such before ordering. even stuff like salads can be decieving.. one at ruby tuesday had more than a thousand calories! wow thats a whole lot. there was a news thingie about it.. maybe sometime this week you'll catch it on CNN or something. or search it up on the internet.

thanks and sorry this was so friggin long heh

i think id lay off the pb&j's... id probably do a healthy turky with no fat kraft american singlets.. and mayo if its a must.. on the fruit juice make sure its natural... if its like 10% juice its just loaded w/ sugar (meaning tons of calories).. bananas are always good and so is yogurt i like oatmeal too (the ones with fruit)... basically the main thing is to eat things with little fat in them 3g or less and to lay off the things with alot of sugar or calories... i think milk helps too... but basially the main thing is to eat a lot of little meals.. or just eat little things throughout the day and not a couple big meals.. eating smaller portions more often will keep your metabolism up... but really the most important thing you can do to lose weight is to excercise... :)
