uisforukelele answered Tuesday February 27 2007, 6:16 pm:
yes, b sharp IS the same as c. contrary to sizzlinmandolin, b sharp and c flat don't actually "exist"... i know this sounds weird, but b sharp is the same as c, and c flat is the same as b. if you don't understand it now, it will hit you in about five minutes, trust me. and the flat/sharp sign goes in front of the note. anyway, b sharp is the same fingering as c. i don't play clarinet, i'm a sax player, but it should be your second finger in your top hand, but don't quote me on that.

Whoa, B sharp isn't the same as C! It's the same as C flat and nobody uses that. Like others have said, the sign goes in front of the note. This website will give you the fingerings for all notes on the clarinet. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Good luck!

HypnotizexMe answered Tuesday February 27 2007, 5:30 pm:
hey! i play B flat clarinet too.
yeah it goes befor the note.

Pull your Bell closer to your body cause if it's farther away, the more likely you will squeak. and don't take too much of the mouthpiece cause that will cause you to squeak. During those tests, even if you dont know what you are doing, play LOUD. Weak noises make you look obvious that you are screwing up!
Keep your fingers close too.

Good Luck

The key signature sign goes in front of the note. And you can look up a fingering chart on google. I play the clarinet too! Hope I helped.
