Why do people wear ripped jeans? I mean the kind you buy pre-ripped?
Question Posted Thursday February 22 2007, 7:54 am
um..what's the deal with ripped jeans? I thought people wanted to wear something in style, not out of style! and it doesn't make you look tough or cool, it makes you look poor and home less!
xomichelle891xo answered Thursday February 22 2007, 9:54 am: Its california style and thats where the trend comes from. I think theyre cute a la the beach, summer party, etc. But NOT during winter or to any formal occasion. I think theyre cute with sandals, but wearing them all year round is definitely NOT cute or attractive. Youre right the trend is on its way out...but people still wear old trends they followed and bought because it'd be way too expensive to follow every trend all the time. i think they make you look grungy and like you cant afford a nice pair of jeans.
jeans never go out of style---unless they are ripped.its an ugly fashion flashback.
i think you can look really nice if you wear simple and nice looking jeans.and i dont think it makes you a nerd either.it just makes you look like you have style & taste.
