Ok when you inhale helium form balloons to have that funny voice it's bad for your body. If somethign bad WERE to happen to me, what would it be and how could I fix it?

However, when you breath helium, you don't get any oxygen, and after a few minutes of breathing pure helium, you'll die. It's the same as breathing water(except the helium comes out easier). There's really no precaution you can take, just don't breath helium for longer than 10-20 seconds, and wait about 10 minutes before you do it again. Don't breath directly from the cylinder, and stop if you start to feel dizzy. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
