I don't get it..

Question Posted Wednesday February 21 2007, 2:55 pm

Ok..So this girl who went to my school last year, I met through one of my best friends. At first, she thought I was one of those weird guys, that was really immature and what not....But then she started to like me a little more and we became friends. Near the end of the school year last year, we were talking on AIM, and she had to go and she said "luv ya babe!" and I was like ok, since when does she "luv" me..? And then about two months ago, she started calling me "her little punk" and then just recently she started calling me "my love" and saying she "loves me" instead of "luv ya"....

But my question is, what's with all the sudden phrase/nickname changes..You think she's starting to like me more than a friend? PLEASE HELP.

well if i do that, its sometimes flirting but i know girls who do it ALL the time and have boyfriends and it doesnt mean ne thing. I think she is flirting with you. She might not like you but she might.. i would find out before you say ne thing back, because it could be her flirting with you not actually liking you. But with the whole name thing like little punk and my love i would say she likes you

That's just her way of flirting with you. When she says "Love ya Babe", that's normally how girls talk to other girls when they're just kidding around etc. but when she says it to you, I think she wants you to say "Love ya" or whatever back. Although that is kind of a weird way of flirting, if you don't like it...just sort of drop her hints you don't like her back. & yes I do think she likes you as more than a friend & you must be leaving her with some type of an impression for her to continue, sounds like the flirting is getting stronger, so if you don't like her back, be careful what kind of an image you're painting!
Good luck
