ok i was wondering does gymnastics and cheerleading and doing stuff like cartwheels and handstands and stuff help u lose weight??!! please help i need to know,
ExNOTINI answered Wednesday February 21 2007, 4:04 pm: it will help you lose weight, but it will also help you gain weight because of the fact that muscle weighs more than fat. i've been in gymnastics since i was 4 and i weigh 120 pounds, i'm 15, and i'm 5'0. but i'm not at all fat, at allllll. just remember- it does NOT matter how much you weigh on the scale just as long as your lookin good [: [ ExNOTINI's advice column | Ask ExNOTINI A Question ]

I would deff. say that both of those would help you lose weight. You may not see as big of a difference as you would in other sports, but the fact trhat Your moving around and not just siting there means Your getting exercise, which in the long run means you will everntually lose weight if you continue to do those things.
