hey well im 14/f
and i have a school dance this week. and i have a date.
but i have one MAJOR problem. i suck at slow dancing and dont really know how.. i dont wanna look retarded. please help if u can! :)

well slowdancing isnt that hard. when a slow song comes on you get your date and you put your hands around his neck (above the shoulders) and he'll put his hands at your hips. It might seen enbarresing at first, but believe me, once you do it once you'll never regret it!

its easy. just move your feet from left to right and your date will follow the rhythm. Most likely he will put his hands on your hips and you should put your hands on his shoulders. gazing into eachother's eyes makes it romantic and make sure you have gum if you guys get close ;) don't stress it. hope i helped ya!

also at age fourteen most teens dont know how to dance, especially guys. dont worry there are a lot of nervous people. just basically let the guy take the lead if hes the one that knows what hes doing the most.

don't worry about it..if your date asks you to dance on a slow song..warn him in a jokeing way of your dangerous moves..just don't sweat it...have fun.. and remember most guys don't know how to slow dance either, especially at your age..and if he really likes you he won't care and he'll look retarded too..i promise you your not going to be the only one there with that problem.
