oh key so my ex broke up with me like a month ago and i still really like him he likes this other girl alot but she doesnt like him. i want to talk to him,i can do it on AIM i just dont know what to say.. i also want to talk to him more, he said he wanted to be friends but we havent communicated whichi understand i jsut dont want to say anything to him, like annoying him so yea how should i talk to him, i want to tell him i still like him but w/o putting him into shock lol thanks in advance
Talk to him casually, about things like school, friends, etc. Try to make conversation as often as possible without smothering him, of course. You'll find things going up from there. Talking on AIM is great, because you can really get into a long and honest conversation (a lot easier than in person) Things will come naturally. Be honest, speak your mind, and ask him to do the same.
If it was meant to be, it will all happen by itself.

I wouldn't suggest telling him you still like him unless you know for certain that he feels the same. Otherwise, you may just cause more hurt for yourself.

It might be hard to not allow things to go further, but you know that what happened is in the past, and there's no reason you two can't have a future as friends. Just say "Hey, how's it going?" Once in a while. He won't think you're creepy, just that you're trying to be nice.
Be yourself.
(And don't tell him that his girlfriend doesn't like him. He'll think you're jealous and that you're lying and he won't trust you.)
