making friends on cruise

I'm going on a Carnival Cruise very soon and I was wondering if there are any particular ways to make friends. I have a lot of friends now, and I can be pretty outgoing at times. I will probably be going to the Club Carnvial program for teens 12 to 14, has anyone experienced this and what should I expect there? I want to make a few close friends to hang out with on this cruise. (:

Maybe give some free advice about: Friendship?
Think about how you made other friends before, &/or how you met. Maybe go up to somebody who looks about your age & just be casual. Say something like "Hi, I'm (your name)! What's your name?" Then they answer. Then talk more like, "So what do you like most about this cruise?" Or ask questions like, "How old are you?" Or ask them what their favorite T.V. Show or band is, & you might have something in common so you can talk more about it! Ask them for their e-mail address &/or phone # so you can keep in touch.

I just got back from club med, and I made a couple friends through their teen club program, so I think spending time there is a great idea. Just pick activities you enjoy, and you'll find other teens there who enjoy it as well, and thats already one thing you have in common. Be yourself, and see if you hit it off with other kids! I met six kids (all from different countries) just by talking to them.

im going in the summer! just be confident. dont be afraid to go up to people who look around your age. start talking to them. give a compliment and then sit next to them adn ask them a question and then when they answer, answer it yourself. like "you like it here?" "yeah" "yeah me2, espeacially the food. my favorites the pizza! wat do u like the best?" etc and then ask them if they wnna hang out with u l8r. be sure to have confidence and make conversation! good luk!
