does google leave footprints on your Xanga? its creeping me out

what does that even mean??

Hi.

I think but I'm not sure, but it means that like a person typed in your site in google and went to it through that.

Because I have typed mine in on google and then clicked the link and it showed up as google.com.

Google's search spider visits your page, if that's what you mean. It doesn't leave a "footprint", in that it doesn't change anything on your page. Scripts and stats show google as:

Googlebot/1.0 (googlebot@googlebot.com [Link](Mouse over link to see full location))

If you want to prevent google from looking at your page, put this in the <head> part of your HTML document:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">
