I think but I'm not sure, but it means that like a person typed in your site in google and went to it through that.
Because I have typed mine in on google and then clicked the link and it showed up as google.com. ]
Google's search spider visits your page, if that's what you mean. It doesn't leave a "footprint", in that it doesn't change anything on your page. Scripts and stats show google as:
Googlebot/1.0 (googlebot@googlebot.com [Link](Mouse over link to see full location))
If you want to prevent google from looking at your page, put this in the <head> part of your HTML document:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"> ]
