boots

Question Posted Monday February 19 2007, 1:37 pm

i finally invested in money to buy a cute pair of sand UGG boots. but now that im thinking about it, i want to know if there are other cute boots out there for a more affordable price. i'm looking for sand colored boots, furry on the inside, and a little bit below knee length (have to be flat!) also, can i have your opinion on UGG boots, are they still even "in" anymore? plus, when summer comes around, i want to wear them with jean skirts. what do you think, and do you suggest any stores that carry the types on boots im looking for? thanks! :]

I actually like crochet uggs better than the regular uggs b/c they're cuter to me in my opinion. I really like the brown ones! I want them! :)

Ugg boots with denim minis are "in" where I live (Maryland) but they're a little played out. But I just think that's for the classic regular ones b/c crochet uggs with denim minis are cute.

Some boots that I suggest are:

...they're not exactly tan colored but I like them :)

I hope I helped!

American Eagle had some boots that were ugg imitations, and they were a lot cheaper. They are out of season now, so they are not on the website anymore, but some stores may still have them left over.

My opinion on UGGs? Well, around here, they aren't exactly "in" but they aren't really "out". Meaning, they aren't trendy, but they aren't "fashion don'ts" Personally, I think that they are comfortable, and I would maybe wear them during the winter, but I don't really like them. And wearing them with a skirt isn't cute in my opinion, but lots of girls like it, so if you think it's cute, I say go for it!

Good Luck =)

the only thing i can think of which is remotly closet to uggs would be emu's. they are cheaper and have similar and different styles. they also break faster so if you really want to buy a nice pair of boots like that just go for uggs, they really are worth it.

Uggs are never OUT, they just get out of season during some parts of the year. Winter and Fall they are huge, they are out in the spring, and depending where you live they are out in summer. In L.A girls are obsessed with them, all year round. It really just depends on what you consider in and out.

A lot of girls like wearing Uggs with skirts, I think sometimes it's quite ugly actually. It's like mixing water with fire, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

Nordstrums, Macys, and store in your mall which sells shoes should care Uggs.

Where I live, UGG boots are out. People will wear them, but they're not anything special. Try looking at a couple of stores before you make your decision- there are lots of cute shoes out there that everyone doesn't have.

hey, well last year ugg boots were super popular. this year they are still popular, but since more and more people are wearing them there getting more common. i myself am still a huge fan of uggs. i have at least 4 pairs! the new "it" type of ugg boots are the classic crochets. there more in than just the classic ones that you were talking about.

i myself am trying to invest to get the brown classic crochet ones. i think that wearing jean skirts with any type of boot would be fine. as for cheaper ugg type boots, there are plenty of imitation ones out there. you could get them at just about anywhere at the mall. however, there is this store called journey`s. they sell real uggs there cheaper then what they sell them for on the ugg website. ill give you the link for them.

right now on the website there is only the ugg booties. in the store there are way more of a selection.
