love handles/mid-section.

I'd like to lose a few pounds, mostly my love handles and lower tummy. I've already cut soda pop/junk food/ice cream/candy/fast food out of my diet. What excercises can I do that will target these areas and get rid of my love handles? And PLEASE tell me ones that you KNOW for SURE will work from personal experience, because I've already tried a lot of the things that people on here have said and they don't work. Thanks!

ok. dont cut all of that stuff out of your diet totally. cause eventually your gonna want it again, nad when you do youll binge and gain all the weight youve lost back. sorry but its true.

ive learned from expireince that you cant target just one area to lose weight, you have to work on your entire body.

what your gonna want to do is cardio for 1-2 hours 4-5 days a week. it can be swimming, running etc. and eat about 1200 calories a day.
i did that over the summer and dropped 3 pant sizes and like 30 pounds.
but please dont go uber strict on this. cause after you get where you want then you have to be able to let up a bit and if you got really strict with this than let up youll gain some back obver time.

it also depends on genetics and how your body gains and loses weight. but this will work a little if not really well.

That is because no exercise will make you lose weight from your midsection or anywhere else. Fat cannot be spot reduced its as simple as that. You have the choice of losing weight overall, or accepting your body as it is.

If you choose to lose weight overall, eventually you will lose your love handles. Genetics plays a role as to how quickly that will happen. Weight loss is all about intaking fewer calories than you burn. So it follows, that full body workouts are much better than any specific exercise.

Time to kill this annoying myth.

I've had that problem and personally i did sit-ups and crunches.. surprisingly they worked very well for me.. Good luck! =]
