There's this senior kid whose always making fun of the people who run. Today we were supposed to do 30 laps and I only got up to like 20 laps becuase I got to tired.a dn I am not overweight I weigh like 115 pouds and I'm 5'1. What should I do help!

I didn't have a problem with running or anything but I'd help my teammates out. There are tips for running. I dont know if you run flat-footed, but that can cause problems with your knees/joints later on. Try running on your toes. Im not sayin on your tip-toes but running on the balls of your feet. Also, your arms. It may sound funny, but the way you move your arms can help you out with running. Speed, endurance, etc. When you 'flail' your arms, you get more tired and it slows you down. Keep your arms close to your body in 90degree angles and pump back and forth when you run. This should help you run a little easier/faster.
Also, for being able to run all those laps, you need to be in shape. Go on the treadmill, walk a mile then eventually start running. Do more cardiac exercises.
If you need anymore help, let me know!
I'll be glad to help you out!!

I am also in highschool and we had to run on a track with all the grades in the school so I also got really self-conscious. What I did to help myself was I put off an air of confidance like I was running normal and everybody else was off. Also when I got home I would run a mile or two to get my endurance level up. I also realized that with all the running I was doing my form and speed improved. If it comes down to it and you are still embaressed just make a joke out of what you are doing, especaially around the person you like. Just make yourself look weird on purpose and joke around with your friends, or if one of them says you look weird just laugh with them and make them think you don't care. And honestly, there are far worse defects then running weird. [ Ally3cm's advice column | Ask Ally3cm A Question ]
