my cat is like wheezing. it sounds like he's snoring but you can tell that his nose is like stuffy. is it normal or could he be really sick? btw- he's an indoor/outdoor cat and he's been outside a lot lately and it's super cold out.

I mean i don't know what could be rong witht your cat. Sorry. But i mean, if i were you i wouldn't take the chance of having your cat getting really sick. So.. just to be safe and asure take him/her to the vet! [ RaRa91231's advice column | Ask RaRa91231 A Question ]

Sabine answered Tuesday February 13 2007, 10:20 pm: Cats are succeptible to upper respiratory infections, which are like human colds. They can turn into pneumonia and become serious quickly. I had a cat die due to this, even though I took her to the vet. You need to take your pet to the vet to be checked out. Also, watch to see if he's eating, drinking, and using the litter box. If he is lethargic (tired-acting, not active or playful), you should definitely take him in.
