The skin on my face is SO flakey and dry. Whenever I put my coverup on (liquid), it looks awful after about 2 hours. Loads of little flakes of skin literally come off whenever I touch my face. I apply a face lotion at night and even before I apply the coverup...but my face is always terribly dry. What can I do to cure this dry skin?

Make sure that you give your face time in between make-up and lotion, just let the pores breathe. Also, you may want to try a cream/powder foundations, it really helped me. Hope this helps.

I've had the same problems as you (having dry/peeling skin & trying to put on a foundation over it) & I tried that lotion & worked within seconds. I kid you not! I've never used a lotion that was soo incredibly amazing. For body lotion, try the Avon line. Their products work wonders as well. You will never have to buy any other lotion product again. Try using that once a day, during or right after your shower. Then immediately apply moisturizer. Allow that to dry, then apply your foundation makeup. You can try to find makeup that has moisturizers in it, if you need. Neutrogena is a great brand, IMO. If this doesn't work, I would see a dermatologist to get his/her recommendations.
