okay so i have had a period for a little over a year now and ive only had 4 or 5 periods.im on it now and the last time i had one was augest. it runs in my family for this to happen but its never been this bad for my mom or grandma. my periods get REALLY REALLY heavy i mean i have to change every hour to HALF hour!!! its crazy and my cramps are really bad too. i usually dont get periods for about 3-5 months. and when i do get them there really bad. my mom doesnt really have the money to take me to a doctor but shes going to hopefully sometime this week but i was just wondering why am i like this? i know its not THAT unusual for people. what can i do?
christina answered Monday February 12 2007, 5:35 pm: Well, you just got it a year ago. For the first couple of years, your period is gonna be irregular. It'll show up & leave whenever it wants.
