Drink tons of fluids, and I mean TONS, it will also help you get better. Try to drink at least a gallon, it sounds like alot but it really isn't. Try drinking hot tea, also, with lemons and honey. Honey is very good for your voice, I know that many singers, particularly punk rock band singers who scream alot, eat honey before they perform. You can eat it plain (if you're brave enough, haha) drink it in tea, or eat it on a cookie or something. Using Vicks or some other metholated cream on your throat (rub it on throat & chest) may help. Don't talk alot now, and if you have to, talk quietly. Suck on cough drops, prefferably mentholated cough drops like Halls. Take more medicine tomorrow morning when you wake up. Eat a hot breakfast like Oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, Waffles, or Pancakes. Citrus fruit may help too, like lemons, limes and oranges. Another important thing is just to stay positive, if you think you are going to lose your voice, then you probably will. Stay positive and I hope you feel better soon! Good luck & Have Fun!
