singing show for kids
Does anyone know of a kids singing show? I'm 13 and I have been told by many I have a good voice, and I can't wait 3 years until I can go on American Idol.

im not sure about a show you could do, but most schools have a showchoir or a choir that you could join. Eventually when your a seinor in high school, if they like you, you could be offered a scholarship.

i think you should deffinatly go to a summer camp. but the reason they don't let 13 year olds into american idol is because voices change around that age,and you never know,your voice could change. seriously,singing lessons are great,but in my opinion,i dont like the fact someone directing my voice. like,its just as good if you have a keyboard,and try copying the notes,and singing along to songs. If you want to get to a high note,practive it everyday. Lower;same thing. try star search. its a good show a lot of people watch also if not you can have more voice lessons leading to American idol so that your voice is absoultly amazing

Try looking in your phonebook or browsing google or yahoo, or an online directory to find places in your area. I don't know of many shows that offer opportunities for young people, but I do know one. Star Search.
