Exercise but don't overdo it, cardiovascular exercises are the best to do. Don't do crunches untill you lose the weighht because you will have nice abs under a layer of fat.
During the day if you have a craving for a snack have fruit.

xomegaroni answered Thursday February 8 2007, 5:24 pm: losing 5 lbs isn't too hard if you stick with it. you can probably lose it in 1-2 weeks depending on what you do. stick to a somewhat strict diet. here's a few ideas-
breakfast: a bowl of special k and some orange juice
lunch: mix it up. pb & j sandwich, yogurt, carrots & dip, strawberries, apples, celery & peanut butter, cheese & crackers, tuna on wheat bread, pasta, etc etc.
dinner: a meat & a veggie, salad, rice, etc etc.
for exercising, try jogging for about 30 minutes a day or do some type of cardiovasuclar exercise. keep that up & cut out sweets & soda.
