I have a disease called Lupus and it feels like no one has it or knows about it...if you know anything about it or anyonyone that has it, can u plz tell me...
There are many kinds of lupus. The most common type, systemic lupus erythematosus, affects many parts of the body. Other types of lupus are:
Discoid lupus erythematosus – causes a skin rash that doesn’t go away
Subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus – causes skin sores on parts of the body exposed to sun
Drug-induced lupus – can be caused by medications
Neonatal lupus – a rare type of lupus that affects newborns.
Symptoms of lupus vary widely depending on the individual case and the form of lupus present. Most people with lupus do not experience all of these symptoms. The list only serves to alert people to clues that might indicate the presence of lupus in an undiagnosed person.

Daimeera answered Wednesday February 7 2007, 6:59 pm: I know a fair bit about Lupus, because some of its symptoms are similar to what I have, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Lupus tends to make you tired, and causes you major problems in the sun (the "butterfly" rash). There is no cure, only management, but it's still possible to live a good life with it.
