as for the pain part, i dont know for sureee, but as far as my sister said, she barely felt it, but she has a high pain tolerance. the piercer that pierced her belly button said he was going to count to 3, then do it, but he did it at 2, so she wasnt expected it, so she would be nice and relaxed, and so it wouldnt hurt as bad. but it all depends on your level of pain tolerance.

Just don't look at it and have someone go with you so you can squeeze their hand or talk to them to take your mind off of it. It may ache a little afterwards, but if you take really good care of it and make sure you clean it like they tell you, you shouldn't have too much pain. Also, don't take the piercing out before you are suppossed to because then it could close up and you'd have to do it all over again! [ mekago5's advice column | Ask mekago5 A Question ]

keepinitreal108 answered Wednesday February 7 2007, 1:49 pm: well if you are under 18 then you have to automatically have parents' permission! but my friend got hers and she complained about it all day.SHe couldn't shower or bath for a long time because of the pain but after like a few days the pain eventually goes away.
