you can go to www.tampax.com and they can probably give you step by step insrtuctions that you can bring with you into the bathroom on how to put them in. hope i helped. have fun in fl, i live there. lolz [ Darkhelp66466's advice column | Ask Darkhelp66466 A Question ]

I would say not to worry too much in a pool, unless your period is heavy enough to be noticed. It isn't really bad. But I don't recommend going in the ocean without a tampon. I grew up in Hawaii and have been told by professional divers that you don't want to be bleeding in the ocean 'cause if there are sharks around, well, they will be around you. I was 13 when I was told that, and had just started my period while on a boat. I sooo wanted to go swimming. Luckily, I didn't, because a hammerhead was spotted that day by a few people on the boat.

Blood does stop when you go in water. When you go out it takes like 10 minutes for your blood to start flowing again. It's not very hygenic for the other people in the pools, but whatever. Every girls done it. :] [ amygwendoline's advice column | Ask amygwendoline A Question ]
