Why is marijuana... sometimes classified as a psychedelic or a hallucinogen?I've never heard of anyone experiencing hallucinogenic effects because of it,so what's the logic behind this?

I’ve heard Cannabis called a mild hallucinogen before, but I’m not sure that is technically accurate. What Canabis certainly is a psychoactive drug or psychotropic drug, which means it acts primarily on the central nervous system and alters brain function, changes perception, consciousness, behavior and mood.
A hallucination is a sensory perception experienced in the absence or inspite of external stimulus, and an illusion is a misperception or misinterpretation of existing stimulus. I would think what cannabis causes would mostly be classified as illusions, not hallucinations. ]
first of all taking too much of it changes what you see and hear and you dont always hallucinate right after tou take marijuana, some people hallucinate like a year after, its like the affect that happens afterwards. ]
It impairs your mind i have heard of people experiencing those effects by the way. I grew up in a drug infested niegborhood and i ve even observed people on it be fore.i myself dont do it but yeah its not unheard of for people to hallucinate whil on it ive even know someone to run over their own 1 year old while high. So yes it does cause people to hallucinate. ]
because the man wants to scare all people away from using marijuana. however, this is an exaduaration, not an outright lie. because its not unlikely to experiance minor auditory halucinations while high. either way, drugs are still harmfull to your system. ]
