Sabine answered Thursday February 1 2007, 6:40 pm: I'm not sure what the first poster was trying to get across, but I think it may have been that if bipolar runs in your family, your parents might not be surprised to hear that you think you have it. Are you worried they won't believe you? Have you had an episodes at home where you think they might already suspect that you are? I would just tell them what you're feeling and seeing. If you tell them and then feel they blow you off and it's seriously affecting your life, you can talk with a school counselor.
