ok well i like this guy...and i was just wondering what guys in general would find most attractive about a girl.

and lastly what are some signs to tell me whether or not a guy likes me?

Hey-I'm not a guy, but I asked some of my guy friends about this question and I think I've got really good answers.
First off, don't be a ditz. Yes, laugh when he's funny, but if he's not, don't make a fool of yourself. Smile at him, but don't stare; it'll make him feel uncomfortable. Big thing is to show you have a brain-engage in joking debates at times or offer to help him in a subject.
When you flirt, make sure all attention is on him...but make sure that he's paying attention to you too. Feel confident about yourself, and don't overuse makeup.
You know a guy likes you when you catch him staring and smiling, not starting and drooling. If he stops you in halls to talk or usually starts the conversation, he probably likes you.
If he compliments you or joins your clubs and activities, he's definatly interested in you,

well there are all types of guys out there. its typical that when they're younger they tend to be more shallow, finding appearance or "hottness" to be very important. this will change as they get older, trust me.
but beyond that a guy would like a girl who can laugh with him, is generally a nice person, and who is easy going. i think this one is especially important because guys hate drama.
i could tell you all kinds of flirting tips that may work or not work, but i think you just really have to show that you are comfortable with him. and LAUGH with him. this is sooo important. even if what he says isnt that funny. also touch his arm every once and a while if he says something funny.
if this guy likes you he will laugh with you and he will smile at you. he will also look at you a lot. this is if he is open and more outgoing. some of the more shy guys may pretend to have no interest. this is tougher. you need to talk with him and let him know that your interested. but slowly. shy boys may look at you and then when you look at them, they look away. this way you KNOW they are interested. its so cute. hope i helped!

All guys are different so I can't really tell you what guys would like. Usually nice girls, sometimes funny umm....well I can't really think of it that all guys like so. You can smile alot when you talk to him and when you pass by him and stuff. And like when you talk to him you can touch his hand. Most signs for when a guy likes you is when they stare at you and when they like to be around you. And if you smile at them and they smile back usually means they like you too. Hope I helped!
