I have a boyfriend, and were both kind of new at this thing! My parents think Im not quite old enough to date him, but I can be his girlfriend!!! Were also both really shy around each other!!Im 13 And female
What can I do to convince my parents to let me date him?

At your age "dating " should only mean that you and him promise not to kiss anyone else. other than that you're just friends like you are with the rest of your friends. Your parents thoughts about you being too young stem from the fact that they don't want you being sexual at your age which is pretty reasonable.

as for being shy, at first just treat him like you would any guy friend... then start being flirtacious, holding hands, cuddling etc.

If you're still nervous then go out together in groups with your friends. Seeing familiar faces will calm you down and make it not feel like you have so much stress on you.
As for your parents, it's normal for them not to want to let you date and in their eyes you are too young to 'date'.
Explain to them your definition of dating. Obviously your boyfriend doesn't drive and isn't going to be taking you places alone, so that should make your parents feel more comforable with you two dating.
