Question Posted Wednesday January 24 2007, 5:54 pm

15/f
sophomore.

Next year, I will have an opportunity to go to a college! I know I will have 2 teacher reccomendations and such, most likely everyone gets accepted.

I really need to go in order to graduate.
But...

Would a mute be able to go to college?
Uhm, a selective mute in that matter or is that just a "NO. you're disabled!1 you can't go."

I do all my work.. just obviously not presentations. :/

Hey. You definitely can go to a college. Some colleges make presentations pretty important but most will understand if you talk to them about it. I really hope this helped and good luck! =)

You, like everyone else, have a right to an education. Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise. :D

Yes a mute is able to go to college, and there are often programs to help the impaired.
Talk to your guidance councelor, and possibly someone from a college you are interested in. Im sure youll be fine.
Good luck.

Well alot of disabled people do end up going to college...however presentations is a huge part of college so if you could make an arrangement with a profession its possible..i dont mean to offend you either but there are some colleges for special need students
