ive had my period for like 5 years now and its always been a reasonably heavy 5-7 day flow. only the past 3 or 4 times have i began using tampons [regular absorbancy]. ive loved them and never had any problem however i started yesterday and this morning i got up and put one in [7:45ish] and by lunch [11:45] it was soaked and leaking in my underwear! i was pretty sure i could feel it and when i checked i was mad because thats never happened before! grr. what are some good tampons that DONT leak? i only have 1 super absorbancy and the ones i use now are playtex i think.

BooYouWhore answered Wednesday January 24 2007, 6:29 pm: just use super absorbancy. It is common that it would be like that after four hours. Thats about the max you should have them in for. My best advice is either change them more regularly or just use super ones and everything'll be a lot easier. I use Playtex Gentle Glide. They're good because they're easy to use and they are much less harmful than most. Of course, any use of them is harmful in some way, but if you're smart about it, you should be fine. But yeha, i really like those. The thing is, pretty much all tampons will give you the same result. Its the change of absorbancy rather than brand.
Good luck!
