i really really want to become friends with this clique. what's the best way to do this? i'm having a party on saturday, and they're going to be there, so how should i go about it?
If you just mean a group of people, that seem cool, or whatever.. then, just go up to them, & start like talking about school or something, & just be super friendly, give big smiles, & sound really interested in what they say to you. & then at the end of the night, if everyone goes well..just be like "guys, i had a tottaly chill time with you.. we should hang out again sometime!" & i'm sure they'll say yes.. & then BAM. you just made a couple new potential friends. Dont be weird or clingy - they wont like you. Just casually go over and be like, "Hey! Whats up? Are you guys having funn?" Dont act like you really really want to become friends with them. Getting into cliques takes WEEKS, MONTHS! Take it slow. [ xomichelle891xo's advice column | Ask xomichelle891xo A Question ]
ASAPcamille answered Sunday January 21 2007, 11:55 am: just be yourself. when they come to your party, greet them at the door, strike up a conversation. after you start talking for awhile, just ask if they mind if you sit with them at lunch someday. they will probably say yes. just be nice, and be yourself.
