Well, no one's going to look at you and grossed out or make fun of you. If they do, that's their problem and they're being immature.

Dermatologist--they give you products and depending on what it is, it was fantabulously (I only know one that works which is an oral medication. Starts with an A...I forgot) But remember, these products are addictive and as soon as you stop using them, your acne will break out and your skin and pores will be damaged from such harsh effects of the medications.

Don't put on make up to conceal it..if that's what you're planning to do because it will just make it worse. Don't try to hide it with hair falling over your face because the dirt and oil from your air will make it worse too...

Use Neutrogena's Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask. Use it day and night, and make sure you have some lotion (that won't clog pores/oil free) or a toner (I use Neutrogena Toner (alcohol free) It's in a blue bottle) Take a shower at night and put the Clear Pore on your face like a mask. Leave it on there for 2-3min and wash it off and proceed wiht your shower. In the mornings use it as a cleanser. That's what I did and I got really sweet results pretty quickly. (I think it was quicker than dermatologist stuff without all that dry red irritated skin)

Once you go to the dermatologist, your skin will improve drastically. Porbably even better than you expect. Acne's something a lot of people have to deal with, so you're far from being the only one.

In the meantime, get a good cleanser, spot treatment, and foundation. I find concealer to be too thick, cakey, and fake looking, and foundation blends better with your skin.

The cleanser I always recommend is Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash. It's gentle and doesn't sting, yet is very effective. For spot treatments, use Clean and Clear Advantage. You'll see an improvement in your skin almost literally overnight- redness will be reduced, and the size of zits will be on the deline. At night, also try a product with benzoyl peroxide. It's a lot stronger, though, and some people have a sensitivity to it. Try it on a small area first. If you don't react to it, use it! It will make your face feel "tight" but dries up pimples quickly.

Also, smile, raise your head up high, and be confident. People will notice that more than a breakout, trust me.

good luck with everything :)

Try ProActive.
My brother used to have really bad acne and he started using it. His skin is alot clearer now.
If that's too expensive, my friend uses something called AcneFree and she loves it. You can get it at Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, etc and I think it's only 20 dollars.
It might take a week for AcneFree or ProActive to work, so go to one of the places I listed above and buy that nutrogena concealer powder stuff that says oil free on it. There's also a little stick with a sponge thing on the end that covers up pimples/blemishes that has sallcylic acid in it, so it doesn't clog your pores.
