When I'm running I always get cramps. My boyfriend said i drink too much water before but i don't drink any at all. Any explanation? It could be that i don't have enough potassium. I'm not sure though, any suggestions on how to run, breathing? Anything to keep away the cramps? Thankkkyou, I'll rate.
Musician answered Sunday January 21 2007, 5:46 pm: i had the same problem when i was younger and i asked a friend about it. Basically, when you breathe. Instead of breathing through your mouth, breathe through your nose. In that way, you dont give the cramp enough air to stimulate.

I had that problem... then i started doing sit ups before i went out and it worked for me (stretch your abs after you do). hope it works for you! <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]

I don't know what is causing the cramps, but I have always heard that drinking V8 is good at helping to keep them at bay.
