hair dying

i have dark brown hair.

i hope that will work. my hair looks kinda redish from how i changed the colors in the pic, so the bottom part of my hair is how it really looks. but anways what is it called when you dye you hair underneath? i was thinking about getting black underneath or a reddish color, what do you think? and when you get a color underneath do they put it in the top of your hair too like highlights are?

Aww. don't listen to the person below me, that was mean.

Anyways, they're called lowlights. I don't think should do this; it stays in for a long time and if you don't like it, then you're stuck with it for a long time.

But uhh, if you like it, then it should work out fine :)

its called lowlights, and they might do a bit on top, depending on where you have it done. DON'T dye your hair if you want it back the way it is anytime soon. I did mine purple a few months ago, and it was supposed to wash out in a few weeks, but its still there. Make sure you can live with what you pick.
