you can't exactly decide to make yourself ambidextrous, but there are things you can do to sort of promote that. i've played piano since a very young age, so even though i write with my right hand, i use both hands equally. i can use my left hand to hold a fork throughout an entire meal and not notice. i can also write in mirror script with both hands. but it's been an acquired thing. you'd have to really thing about it- start using your left hand only for stuff, like opening doors or picking up stuff. it's going to take a while, but if you really work hard you'll probably be able to use your left hand. if you practice writing with your left hand (like, learn how to write all over again) it makes sense that you would be able to write with both hands. good luck!

If you practice with your left, it'll be better but it will never be as good as your right because it's taken your whole life to get your right hand steadier than it has ever been.
I'm amphidextrus, which means I can use both perfectly the same
I write with my left mainly, but can do with right
Play footie with the right but can do it just as good with left.

Just practice because you know what they say
Practice makes perfect.

It is in my opnion that you CANNOT MAKE yourself amphidextrus.
you never use your left, so it'll be very hard to get it like your right.
Bec (the first 1 to answer is wrong) you cannot actually make yourself amphidextrus

Yes, it could happen, but it would take a ton of practice. How long have you been using your right hand instead of your left? I thought so. To make it happen faster, you could go cold turkey with your right hand, but it would take longer to do things. Good luck!

It's possible, but very hard. It'll be like learning to write all over again. Most people, when they write with their off hand will write mirrored, so you can read it only in a mirror(which is pretty neat). It could take years of work to be able to use your left hand with any proficiency, and it will probably never be as good as your right. To help you learn, you can get some of those writing practice books like the ones you get in second grade, and practice on those.

If you are born right handed, it is just about impossiable for you to get just as good using ur left hand as right, but you can sure try it. And even though you might no b as good, if u practice you will definetly get better.

That'd be hard cuz theres not alot of peolpe that are able to use both hands. If it really interests you that much i'm sure you could do it.
