i got my nose pierced and was told to clean it with an antumicrobial cleanser. i got Hebiclens, but it seems sort of strong...is there anything else i can use?? is antibacterial soap ok
thelaura answered Friday January 12 2007, 7:55 pm: If you feel it's too strong, why don't you mix it with water? If all else fails, use sea salt and boiled water. That's what I used. Needless to say, it's fine. Also, don't clean it too much or you may end up with what's called a "nostril bump" like i have.. which takes alot of time and hard work to get rid of. If you do get it, apply tea tree oil directly about 3/4 times daily :)
Good luck with your new piercing. If you need any help, drop a message in my inbox. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
