Question Posted Friday January 12 2007, 7:25 pm

Should you use hot or cold water to wash your face. I heard one of them was better than the other.

its not really that ones better...really you should use both. because hot water opens your pores so you ca cleanse them but youll need to close pore back up with cold water. thats the diffrence hot opens them and cold closes pours.

Warm water works. Cold water will wake you up in the morning if you need it.

Use hot if you'd just like to have you're skin quite smooth and gentle

If you've woken up, splash cold for the refereshing and uplifiting face

Warm is good so you don't dry your face out.

Hot=open pores
Cold= closes pores

So cleanse when your pores are open.

get a washcloth with hot water first and cover your face with it to open your pores, then apply facewash after removing the washcloth, and then use cold water to close your pores to keep them from getting dirty.

Hope I helped!!

The steam and the hot water help to open up pores so that makes them much cleaner.

Warm, not hot. If the water is too hot it will cause your skin to dry out, and nobody wants that.

hot water to open open your pores, then clense your skin, then wash again with cold water and that makes the pores close so dirt wont get inside of them.

Hot water is best since it opens up your pores, allowing the face wash to get into them, and clean them out!

Hope I helped!
