The Outsiders
hey guys..13/f..this is for anyone who has read the book "The Outsiders". For my class i have to do a dramtic reading of one of the scenes in the book. My partner and I have decided to act out the part where Cherry talks to Ponyboy before the rumble begins. We have to pick props and proper background music to put in the background. Does anyone have any ideas about any props/music i should add in my scene?

I read this book last year, but i'll try my best. Cherry has red hair, Ponyboy has black, greasy hair, kind of like John Stamos'. Ponyboy wore white tee's, a black leather jacket, and motorcycle boots. He also had his t-shirt tucked in. Those could be some props. I would think Cherry would wear a skirt and have her hair down but one side pulled back with a clip.

I read the book 2 years ago. it was really good. if you watch the movie you will get a good idea of the sencary and dialoug. My image of the outsiders is like mid 1900's kids, slicked back hair, white tee's, leather jackets. Kind of the image of Greese the movie. But if you want the best help, check outthe movie.

I read it last year, i sort of forgot, But you are reading the book shoulnt you know? Maybe you can watch the movie or like at immages like at google.
