Simply squat down and insert your thumb and forefinger into your vagina. Sweep the fingers back and forth and try to feel the withdrawal cord or tampon. Once you feel the cord/tampon, grasp it and pull it out.
If for any reason you just cannot remove it, you will need to see a doctor ASAP. Do not leave it in over 8 hrs. because it can cause toxic shock syndrome. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

you need to get help from someone. i would advise going to see your doctor, but firts maybe you could talk to your mum or an older sister? it is very rare that the tampon is stuck with the string stuck within the body. all you can do is visit the doctor. also, remember that the longer a tampon is left inside the body, the greater the risk of TSS (toxic shock syndrome) which can kill you. please get help as soon as you can, even if you are embarrassed, it could be a question of life or death.
