Sabine answered Saturday January 6 2007, 5:50 pm: The other two were right. The doctors I used to work for advised against using them simply because they were saturated with perfumes, which can cause irritation and lead to discomfort, bleeding, and infections in sensitive people. Some people find they work okay without any irritation. Be aware that you can develop allergies, as well, so sometimes something won't bother you at first, but can become a problem later on.
pockets answered Saturday January 6 2007, 5:48 pm: They're not bad for you, if they were bad they wouldn't still sell them. But they can cause certain people to have reactions and irritations because of the chemicals used to make the scent. [ pockets's advice column | Ask pockets A Question ]
soccergurlie1220 answered Saturday January 6 2007, 5:23 pm: Well I'm not totally sure but my guess would be because the sented ones have the ,scent in them so I guess it would be kinda like putting perfum up there which isn't really good for you. Thats just my guess I'm sure someone else can probably tell you better but thats my guess. Hope I helped a little bit. [ soccergurlie1220's advice column | Ask soccergurlie1220 A Question ]
