My friend was too embarassed to ask herself so she asked me to ask for her. She had unprotected sex a week or so ago and she's supposeed to get her period soon. how long does it take until you know you're pregnant? will you know by her next period (which is in like 4 days or so) or will she still get her period and miss the next one?
AMYGWENDOLiNExO answered Saturday January 6 2007, 12:49 pm: Well, in four days - if she doesn`t get her period. She should get a pregnancy test. & Test herself somewhere around the 15th of Jan. She won`t get a period anymore if she`s pregnant.
xlickablex answered Saturday January 6 2007, 12:49 pm: it usually depends on the body, i guess. She could always goi to a local clinic and have a test to see if shes pregnant and its free as well as the doctors dont tell your parents without your permission. Or pick up a home pregnancy test and see for herself, but those aren't always completely accurate. [ xlickablex's advice column | Ask xlickablex A Question ]

If she is pregnant, I hope she isn't a teen, and If she is, I hope like hell she realizes what she is getting into. I always say, if you are too young to be a responsible adult and raise a child, you are too young to have sex.
Ok, enough with my preaching about it. The damage may have already been done. I'm not a jerk, I just care about, and always side the innocent child.
Here is a link to coolnurse.com and a list of pregnancy symptoms. Like I said, I wouldn't start to fret until her period is 2 weeks late.
