for a couple months ive always felt fat because i have a big stomach but everyone says im thin. i started not eating breakfast or lunch and then maybe dinner sometimes but after i eat dinner i make myself throw it up. throwing it up only started recently but i feel better afterwards. If i talked to a school guidance consuloer would they tell my mom. What happens

Not eating is NOT the way to lose weight. It makes you feel miserable, and actually makes it harder for you to lose weight, since your body goes into starvation mode. Crunches & a slight improvement in your diet, besides going back to eating normally, eating more fruits&veggies will help you, and will shrink your stomach.
However, it IS normal to simply not be hungry sometimes, as a result of stress, medication, etc.
But please, tell someone. You'll be grateful you did later on. Eating disorders are serious business- people make themselves really sick and sometimes even die. Not trying to scare you, but I don't want that to happen to anyone and you really don't want to do that to yourself. There's healthier ways to lose weight and feel better about yourself. Plus, throwing up all the time makes you feel lousy AND destroys your teeth! Not attractive.

Eating disorders are SERIOUS and I know now it feels good and youre thinking, "This is great! Im losing weight and I feel fine.." But, there are serious risks to eating disorders BESIDES death. You can do a ton of damage to your organs like your liver, your heart and your stomach. It also leads to depression after awhile. You lose your hair, and sometimes your teeth rot out. You can also hurt your espohagus when you throw up. Im not trying to preach I just hate when girls do this to themselves, which is kind of hypocritcal but I really think you should GET HELP. If you talked to a school guidance counselor, Im sure they would tell your Mom since its a disease. But, you should tell your Mom anyway because its a very serious problem. Your Mom wont be mad at you, she will want to get you help and she will be worried. But seriously, its better that you KNOW you have a bad habit now..rather than fixing it before its too late. So, please talk to a school guidance counselor or your Mom..anyone you can trust that can help you. ♥ Good luck. [ xomichelle891xo's advice column | Ask xomichelle891xo A Question ]
duudee_advicer answered Monday January 1 2007, 10:03 pm: Well you have Anorexia Nurvousa and Bulimia.
These are two very serious disorders that
can eventually result in death.
Therefore, if you consult a counseler they
will most likley report to your mom.
However, after your mom, the counseler,
and yourself have all three discussed the
issue you with probably be admitted into
the hospital for malnutrition check or
you will be sent to a therapist/rehabilation
center for treatment.
