If you have an old iPod, it works great. If you have one of the new nanos, you need to order a separate support insert. It comes with several inserts, but since the new nano is smaller than the old nano, the nano insert doesn't support the iPod, so it could risk bending some of the "teeth" on the part of the iPod where you plug it in, and then your iPod is ruined. So, if you order an extra new nano insert, or you have the older models of the iPod, than it works just fine =]
