ok, i like this boy who is one year younger than me (13). we know each other because we go to the same church and we're pretty good friends. we always text each other and stuff like that. but i dont know if he likes me. the stuff he says in his text messages kinda makes me think that he does, but then im not totally sure. i like him, but im not sure if he likes me...any ideas?

hey hun, i had the SAME EXACT SITUTATION it counldnt be any different. what i did was like flirt with him a little and see if he shows any signs and stuff. or ask a friend to find out for ubut not make it too obvoius.. start to get to know him better and be really flirty or when u text say hey babe ! but not make it overly desperate

ask him stright out. say " i am confussed on your texts, and i would like to know if you like me more than a friend" or do what i did, call him up, and ask him if he likes you more than a friend. it would be better in person.. but i did it and me and my guy have been together for almost 2 years, so if that gives you any confidence go for it. don't exactly trust friends though to do the deed cuz things will get all messed up and you won't know what he really said. hope this helps good luck! :)

ask him to hang out as a friend so he won't get scared like for example if you like him and he doesn't then he'll feel like he doesn't wanna hurt your feelings and step a side. then you'll know i don't know how to explain it , also if he continues inviting you to hang out thats good

You guys are already friends, right? So it'll be easy to hang out with him without asking him out. Ask this guy if he wants to hang out someplace. Like a movie theater, and then just flirt a little. Give him a head to toe look, make eye contact, giggle at his jokes, give him a cute nickname (like if he talks about his car too much "hot rod") and occasionally touch his hand... but just like, innocently bump his hand with yours... don't hold his hands until you guys have gotten together!
There are ways to tell if he likes you or not:
Blushes around you (duh)
He treats you different than his other friends
If his friends seem to take an interest in you when he's not there (this means he has said something about you).

hey, well the only way to know for sure is to ask him. since you guys like to text, ask him on a text. that way it will be easier then asking in person. if he says that he does like you, ask him if he wants to go out somewhere. you decide where because you know your own interests and also his. good luck =].
