I used to be so outgoing, I was friends with everyone and I talked to anyone. But latley, I've noticed my list of friends has shrunk, I spend more time at home, and I'm becoming shyer and shyer. I worry when we get new nine week classes, because I'm afraid I won't get any classes with my friends when I used to be happy with whoever I got. How do I get the old me back?

Flaggal answered Wednesday December 27 2006, 6:47 pm: you have to take your time and everyone changes. try and hang out with your old friends and talk to them -even if its just AIM- try and be yourself and if your friends dont like the new you, then there not friends. you can always make new friends but dont change because your old friends want you to. and this could just be a sign of growing up. u never really know until after it happens -witch is kind of strange-

Some people tend to just get bored of the same thing and then stop talking to everyone and dont make new friends.
Just find some random person in your new elective, and begin to talk to them .
Then have a party for no apearent reason. ((This pretty much just gets you back on the social ladder))
Hpe I helped
Best of luck ;) K@T!E [ KatieKinns702's advice column | Ask KatieKinns702 A Question ]
illdomybest answered Tuesday December 26 2006, 10:23 pm: ok youve just adapted to a new way of living or atmosphere. you spend more time at home so home would be the atmospheres you have adapted to you made yourself used to not being around people soas a reaction youve become shyer. so all you have to do is think of meeting new people as no big deal and start talking to people who are diffrent. the more you do that the more youll get used to it. some people youll mesh with and some people you wont click with and its really not a big deal. sportychick13 answered Tuesday December 26 2006, 9:34 pm: you have to develope your old self back slowly over time that is the only way to do it. if you get a class with someone that you do not know go up to them one day and say hello or something. if you get a class with your friends then talk to them to but dont be held down to a certain group of people. you can have friends but you should be friends with everyone. of course you can be nice to someone and not be BEST friends with them. so be nice to everyone (but of course there will always be that special friend that is always there for you) my opinion is that there is only one friend that is truly your (best) friend but until you find that ONE then make friends with everyone, then you'll find your special friend [ sportychick13's advice column | Ask sportychick13 A Question ]
