Question Posted Tuesday December 26 2006, 11:48 am
I turn sixteen in about a month, and I'm thinking about having a Phantom of the Opera party. I absolutely love Phantom and I think it's a good idea. Kind of a masquerade type thing. I'm on kind of a budget, though. I'm thinking about having it in a hotel ballroom. Anyone have any ideas that will be easy and cheap for my Phantom theme?
Additional info, added Wednesday December 27 2006, 9:45 am: I'm a big fan of the movie and the book( the original Gaston Leroux version). I've read it three times, so I can do anything from either.. By the end of the night everyone has to guess who the phantom is.
Wear a white dress like Christine wears when she's performing Think Of Me onstage.
Have the phantom break a thrift-store chandelier before your grand entrance.
Decorate the ballroom either as the theatre or the phantom's room.
(This is from the book not the movie ->) Send the invitations out on parchment in red ink. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]
