Okay, so I have acne and obviously I have to cover it up so I always put on foundation and coverup.. but it doesnt make my skin look good.. so I've noticed that without like foundation my skin looks better but is there any like toner or anything that will make my face less red and get rid of those gay acne scars that are left? Thanks for any advice.
1. Tomato, which has vitamin A. Vitamin A, controls the production of excess sebum and also an excellent antioxidant. Slice tomato and apply slices directly to skin.
2. Your skin needs water to keep the skin plump, remove toxins and build new skin cells. Drink at least 80 ounces of filtered water a day to give your skin the quality and quantity of water it needs to reveal healthier, fresher skin.
3. Cucumber is one of the refreshing treatments used for the treatment of acne. Blend the cucumber into a paste and apply it on the spots. Leave it for 30 to 45 minutes and then wash it off.
4. The sandalwood and rosewater blend can be used as a facial mask and cab be instantly applied on the pimple areas of skin. Wear it during the night before going to bed.

At night when you go to bed put on acne medicine.See if it improves.Good luck! and Merry christmas! P.S. Acne scars will go away in time. You need to give it time.

Acne scars fade with time. Lots and lots of time. But they will fade eventually. Maybe it's all in my head, but ever since I started using a scrub every night I've seen drastic improvements in the appearance of my skin. I recommend St. Ives Apricot Scrub- the regular one. Not the one for acne; it smells weird.
Proactiv Daily Oil Control helped with redness a little. It's kind of expensive and you can only get it at the mall kiosks (as far as I know) but it's worth a shot.
Using a generous amount of moisturizer (oil free!) right before applying foundation helps even out your skin. Your makeup will then go on smoother and will fade more naturally- it won't get all cakey and gross. Also, try not to use so much coverup! Foundation covers pretty well. Save coverup for the very worst zits. Trust me, your skin looks wayy worse to you thamn everyone else. Too much coverup = plastic effect. Try Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse. It works better than coverup (at least in my experience) [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
