Additional info, added Wednesday December 20 2006, 5:31 am: 3) Will my hair be of two different shades of brown then?. Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? Maybe give some free advice about: Fashion and Styles? leighton91 answered Wednesday December 20 2006, 2:00 pm: its fine to touch up on already dyed hair and it is fine to do two different shades. The only thing to keep in mind is to have the colors blend well together. They dont have to match but get colors that go well together like a honey brown color and a light brown. Sometimes this look can make your hair look professionally done because a lot of times hairdressers use multiple colors.

rainbowcherrie answered Wednesday December 20 2006, 5:29 am: I have to re-dye my hair about every three or four months and although it's not ideal, it's okay. It's fine to touch up as well as dye over your already-dyed hair, but if possible you should try and find kits that are specially designed to touch up roots as they will damage your hair as little as possible. It is also fine to use another shade but obviously if you do that you will have to dye all over your hair, which means you can't use a touch up kit.
