Sabine answered Sunday December 17 2006, 11:06 pm: Take a look at this website:
Mononucleosis (Mono) is a viral illness which is easily transmitted through contact with another person's saliva (thus the thing about not sharing cups). Some people are not affected at all, but it makes some people very ill for a few months with fevers, sore throats, and overwhelming fatigue (tiredness).
snickerzz11 answered Sunday December 17 2006, 11:05 pm: People call mono the kissing disease but thats not really it. Mono is short for mononucleosis (not sure if I spelled that right) and its just a disease that you get from coming in contact with someone's saliva. Basically, it makes you tired all the time. And it takes like 6 months to a year to get over it. Hope this helped! [ snickerzz11's advice column | Ask snickerzz11 A Question ]
